At the Unbridled Kids Foundation, we offer a unique volunteer experience where you can make a difference in the lives of children with special needs and the horses that assist them. By volunteering with us, you’ll play a crucial role in providing hippotherapy services, while also ensuring that the horses have a safe and happy environment to thrive in.

Available Volunteer Roles
We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles at our stable in Pea Ridge, Arkansas:
- Horse Feeding – Help make sure our therapy horses are well-fed and cared for
- Hippotherapy Side Walkers – Walk alongside therapy horses to ensure the safety of our young riders
- Hippotherapy Horse Leaders – Guide our therapy horses during sessions
- Stall Cleaning – Help keep our barn clean and comfortable for our therapy horses and patients
- General Barn Care – Ensure a clean and welcoming living space for our therapy horses
- Landscaping – Help keep our grounds looking beautiful and welcoming for families
- Maintenance – Assist with outdoor projects, repairs, and keeping our facility in top shape
- Fundraising & Events – Support our mission by helping with community outreach, fundraising, and event planning
Who Can Volunteer at the Unbridled Kids Foundation?
We welcome volunteers of all ages! Volunteers as young as 8 years old can participate in stall cleaning and general barn care with a parent or guardian present, while children aged 16 and up can work independently in many roles. Volunteers in landscaping, maintenance, and fundraising must be at least 18 years old.
Volunteers with special needs are welcome! We do ask that a parent/guardian complete the volunteer application and training alongside volunteers with additional needs and accompany them during all volunteer activities.
No prior experience with horses or therapy is required as all volunteers will complete a one-day orientation and training session before getting started. All you need is the willingness to learn and a passion for helping others! This is a perfect opportunity for:
