Unbridled Pediatric Therapies
We welcome inquiries from pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapists who are interested in offering hippotherapy to children of all ages. Unbridled Pediatric Therapies provides a unique, inclusive and therapeutic environment for individuals ages 2 and up. By joining Unbridled, you will be working with a group of therapists who are dedicated to offering developmental progress that children can achieve nowhere else.
We Love What We Do
We see so many benefits from the children’s interactions with our therapy horses:
- When our children are on horseback, they receive intense vestibular, proprioceptive and tactile stimulation. This assists their sensory integration.
- Children develop better motor skills every time they lead a horse, maintain balance on the horse’s back or tote handfuls of hay to the corral.
- They also gain a greater ability to focus and complete tasks as they help us wash the horses, clean their hooves and complete other chores.
- The bonds created with horses and therapists encourage greater communication and social skills.
