The first step in starting your child’s occupational, physical or speech therapy at Unbridled Pediatric Therapies would be an evaluation with one of our professionals. Here are some of the points an evaluation includes:

• We’ll ask about your child’s developmental progress and any support that would be beneficial for improvement of strength, dexterity, speech, emotional health or cognitive skills.
• We will need and review complete information about your child’s health and any medical conditions.
• We will perform a direct observation of your child’s strengths, skills and abilities as relates to the improvements hippotherapy may be able to provide.
• We will explain how hippotherapy can enhance a wide array of your child’s abilities, starting at physical strength and bodily control and extending to improved communication and social interaction.

At Unbridled Pediatric Therapies, your child’s equine-assisted therapy will be carefully integrated with their occupational, physical or speech therapy program to maximize their progress.
